Crazy Little Sling

Oxford’s sling meet and library for those that use, or are curious about using, woven wraps for baby and toddler wearing. Go along to try woven wraps, improve your technique or hire a wrap. All parents and carers welcome, from total beginners to seasoned wrappers.

Meets at the West Oxford Community Centre (WOCA) on the third Thursday of every month from 10am-12pm.


Oxford Sling Library – East Oxford

Runs every two weeks on a Friday starting at 12.30-2.30pm at St Albans Hall, Charles Street, East Oxford OX4 3AH.

On arrival: £5 (per person) / £7 (2 adults) – you’ll get help choosing an appropriate sling for you and how to wear it, or advice about your own sling, plus snacks and drinks.

Hiring: £3 for a two week initial hire.

Deposit: £50 required. Cheques preferred. Card reader or Paypal.



Oxford Sling Library – Wheatley

Get advice on how to use a sling to carry your baby safely. Find out how to tie a sling correctly, get baby in and out of the fabric, safe positioning, how to use a sling as a breastfeeding aid and how to keep baby cool in the summer. Runs second Wednesday of each month, 9.30-11.00am alongside the Well Baby Clinic.
