Cafe from Crisis

Our Café, located in vibrant George Street, is famous for its all day fireman’s breakfast and serves a wide range of freshly prepared food and drinks all day. Our cafes also offer training opportunities for people experiencing homelessness that are looking to get into employment. Open Monday to Saturday 8.30am-4.00pm.

Donnington Doorstep Family Centre

Donnington Doorstep is an independent, community-based family centre delivering a range of universal and specialist services. Set up in 1984 by local parents who knew that caring for children can be hard – we’re a home from home drop-in for children, young people and their families as well as a hub for local community activity. From our purpose-built centre in East Oxford our activities focus on play, food, support and community development.

Bumps to Babies – Mondays: 10.30-12.00 – midwife drop-in including breastfeeding support. 07901707905

Baby group – Tuesdays 11.30-1.30 – lots of sensory and soft play, where mums and babies can get involved in lots of tummy time play as well have a chance to speak with family support on any support or advice they may need. There will tea, coffee and cake to buy. ÂŁ1.50 suggested donation

Youth Project – Tuesdays & Wednesdays 5.30 – 7.30pm. Young people age 8-18 are welcome to drop in for play, activities and support.

Parenting Programme – we offer a regular 10 week parenting course aimed at families who feel they need some extra help to bring them together and move forwards with tough issues.

Flo’s – The Place in the Park

A community-owned hub for people to meet, work, play, create, learn, eat and connect.

The FLO (Food Love Operation) cafĂ© – open every day 10-4 (winter opening times). Serves natural organic food & drinks. Play area for children & backs onto Florence Park playground.

The Nature Nursery – a small (24 place) early years nursery setting for children aged 2-4 years. The nursery is a home from home, where children feel calm and settled and spend their day in harmony with other children and their natural surroundings. Opening hours: 8.15am – 5.30pm; 48 weeks a year.

Rooms for hire – we have several beautiful and functional rooms available to use and hire at Flo’s including our free Community Drop in space as well as two spaces for hire- the meeting room and the main hall.

Restore Cafes

Restore provides recovery and coaching support to people with mental health problems while working with the whole community to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Restore cafes serve fresh home-made lunches and Fairtrade barista coffees.
