Celebrate Father’s Day at Cogges with its Steam and Country Show. There will be a whole host of motors, motorbikes, steam and machines to interest enthusiasts of all ages! We’ll also have a craft market in the barns, as well as demonstrations from local craftspeople and working examples of a variety of rural skills such as rope making, beekeeping, hedge laying, and willow weaving.
As well as all the other delights that Cogges has to offer, including cooking in the manor house, farm animals, picnic areas and our stunning walled kitchen garden, the farmyard will be packed full of wonderful vintage and classic motorbikes, cars, working steam engines, and traditional farm machinery and tractors.
Curious minds are encouraged as you wander through the site, finding out about rural life in the Cotswolds, talking directly to the owners, makers and artisans who keep these traditional skills and vintage machines alive to pass on to the next generation.
Why not bring along your four-legged friends to enjoy a day out with the family? We have a fun dog show running throughout the day, hosted by Helen owner of Waggy Tails Of Witney. It is definitely based on the fun side, with classes such as fastest sausage eater, waggiest tail, and a dog poo bag and spoon race.
Visitors can also expect beautiful live music, food and craft ales!
