The harvest fair is great community event and fun for all ages to celebrate the harvest season. It’s also an opportunity for us to think about how we use the world’s resources and be thankful for what we have.
We will be running a “swap it’ stall where you are welcome to bring ‘as new’ toys and small household items (no electricals) to swap for something new. We will have fair trade goods on sale to encourage people to “buy it” in an ethical way. We will have a walk through for all to think about what Harvest means to us, and all this with crafts, games and the usual quality HBC cafe, with coffee, teas and cakes (donations only).
