Lambing from mid-March 2020

28th March-19th April 2020
Every spring we lamb 250 ewes in our barns, before turning some 400 lambs and their mothers out onto the new grass in our rolling meadows. For the third year in a row, we are opening the farm gates to the public to allow them to see what happens – from birth right through to the lambs’ first steps out on the fresh spring grass.
We will have a play area, craft corner and an area to ‘hold a chick’ to keep the children occupied and a tea/coffee/refreshments station, in aid of charity, for the adults.
Tickets can be bought from the farm on the day.
Roves Farm, Swindon
19th March – 5th April 2020
Come and see all our expectant ewes and the new born lambs keeping cosy in the lambing shed. With our special viewing platform that looks out across the lambing shed, there will be plenty of opportunities to see lambing in action. Although we cannot guarantee it, there is a good chance you might even be able to see one being born!
