The North Wall Arts Centre

The North Wall is an arts centre in Oxford that has been created for the benefit of emerging artists across a range of disciplines. Based on the campus of St Edward’s School, this award-winning facility offers a fully flexible 200-seat theatre, a public art gallery and studios for dance and drama.

NW Explorers

The North Wall features shows for children 7 and under throughout the year, as well as offering free Stay and Play  sessions to any families coming to watch, including crafts, reading corners and dressing up!

Family-Friendly Facilities

We want to make sure our audience have a good experience when they visit us, so we’re proud to meet Family Arts Standards as set out by the national Family Arts Campaign.

Our family-friendly facilities include:

  • baby-changing area
  • buggy parking
  • booster seats

We offer free ‘Babes-in-arms’ tickets for under 2s, these can be added to your booking online, or by calling the box office.

Relaxed Environment Performances

All family shows offer a relaxed environment, including a more relaxed attitude to noise and movement in the auditorium, ability to enter & exit the auditorium as needed and a chill-out space away from the audience for anybody who may need it.
